The Stars win the series on Eddie's 36th birthday!

Edmonton is a strong team and again gave the Stars a workout. However, with age comes wisdom. The "Grumpy Old Men" line came up big for Dallas when needed. The third line of Van Allen, Langenbrunner, and Morrow were driven to make plays and fight for the puck. Defense was key to Dallas' success. Even with some questionable calls in Game 2,4,and 5, Eddie took care of business....
