Eddie is personally committed to the Make-A-Wish organization. He has worked in golf tournaments for this great organization.
Since moving to Dallas, Eddie has had skating parties for the children. He has also bought a block of 8 lower-level seats
for each home game at Reunion Arena, known as the "Eagle's Nest", and has donated these seats to the Make-A-Wish
organization. Eddie even wears the Make-A-Wish logo on the chin of his mask. Eddie has not only mastered the
ice, but he has mastered the air and sea. Eddie has mastered the air while flying planes. Eddie has mastered the seas while
scuba diving and fishing. Eddis loves to fish. He is known to be a musky and pike man! Eddie has also mastered the
road. He is an avid grease monkey and spends a couple of weeks every summer restoring muscle cars in Michigan. He not only
loves working on these cars, but he loves driving them. Eddie really loves speed and competition, which makes drag racing
a perfect fit for him. Speaking of competition, Eddie thrives on it. For the past few seasons, the Stars have gone to
Vail CO for their training camp. The highlight of camp is their version of an eco-challenge in the mountains. The players
become extremely competitive during this event. However, they are no match for The Eagle. Eddie has competed in several
triathalons in his day!
